Testimonials

I’ve been seeing Michael for almost five years and will accept no substitutes. He’s helped me manage and ultimately conquer chronic hip pain and several bouts of unexpected dizziness, tendonitis, and neck strain from computer work, and the kinds of injuries you get when you try things like trapeze and marathon training-as well as the more minor aches and pains caused by the usual stresses of daily life. His skills, his kindness, and his professionalism are unparalleled, and I couldn’t move through the world the way I do without him.--Lisa

I started seeing Michael four years ago for a stenosis in my neck; and although my symptoms have been under control for 3 years, I have continued to see Michael monthly for my neck and other perpetually tight areas (hips, glutes, pecs, shoulders). Michael modifies his technique and treatment based on my needs. He has an immense knowledge of anatomy and uses that in his practice. His unique approach is one I have never experienced with other massage therapists; he uses gentle traction in addition to massage, and he modifies his style and technique based on my needs. He can access deep areas that need attention without causing pain or soreness afterwards. Both my husband and good friend also go to Michael, and we all agree that he is outstanding. JEN E.

As a practicing chiropractor for over 10 years, I've had a lot of experience working with massage therapists. Each have their own unique methods and I have been especially pleased with what Michael has been able to do for me while working with him the past couple of years. He is well trained and understands how to apply his knowledge of the human body to his treatment approach. His technique is specific to my concerns and incorporates manual muscle work in addition to a deep tissue or relaxation massage. In my opinion, muscle work is a great compliment to chiropractic care; and Michael was a huge help in my recovery from a low back injury last year. I refer patients to Michael and I highly recommend him for massage and muscle work.  Aaron Abplanalp, D.C
